Competing in the -52kg J1 category, Jolene will take on some of Europe’s best judoka on one of the biggest stages of her young career.

From putting in the hours on the mat at our academy to stepping onto the European stage... this is a moment we're so proud to see 💪🥋

Competing in the highly competitive Women's -57kg division, Frema finished 5th overall, narrowly missing out on a bronze medal after an impressive run of matches.
With 160 judokas competing across 14 weight categories over three days of competition, every match demands solid performance.

Under the guidance of Coach Ala, Frema demonstrated technical quality and composure on one of the sport's biggest stages, proudly representing Ghana against elite international opposition.

Although the podium was just out of reach, a top-five finish at the Commonwealth Games is a significant achievement and another important milestone in Fremas journey.

Behind every successful athlete is a team of people who believe in them. Frema's talent and determination have been evident from day one, but none of this happens without the unwavering support of her amazing family, who have backed her every step of the way. Their commitment, sacrifices and belief in her dreams have played a huge role in helping her reach this point.

A special mention must also go to our Head Judo Coach, Ed Semple, whose tireless work, guidance and dedication have helped Frema develop into the athlete she is today. A proud day for our club! 🥋

We were honoured to host the British Judo Association's very first BJJ to Judo Conversion Course, with an outstanding seminar & grading session delivered by our legendary Ray Stevens.

This landmark event saw 22 participants take to the mat, and we're delighted to say it was a tremendous success. The atmosphere throughout the day was fantastic, with everyone showing great enthusiasm, respect, and a real desire to learn.

A huge congratulations to every person who took part and successfully converted their current BJJ grade into an equivalent official Judo ranking. This is a significant achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication you have all put into your training.

We are incredibly proud that our club was chosen to host this historic first event for the BJA and grateful to everyone who helped make the day run so smoothly. Events like these showcase the strength of our martial arts community and what can be achieved when people come together to learn and support one another.

Thank you to the British Judo Association, our coaches, volunteers, and all participants for making this such a memorable occasion.

🔥 KINGSTON TEAM LONDON YOUTH GAMES 🔥

What a day we had, also representing Kingston Upon Thames at the London Youth Games! 💪🏽

Our young athletes from across the borough showed incredible determination, teamwork, and pride from start to finish.
Despite having a smaller team this year, Kingston really punched above its weight – a huge effort that shows just how strong the future of this team is 💙

🏅 Results update: Girls placed 18th 👏 Boys placed 26th 👊 out of 27 London Boroughs

👏 Huge shoutout to every member of the team... you did Kingston & us proud!
🙌 Thank you to the coaches, staff, and supporters who made the day possible.

🔥 KINGSTON TEAM LONDON YOUTH GAMES 🔥

What a day we had, also representing Kingston Upon Thames at the London Youth Games! 💪🏽

Our young athletes from across the borough showed incredible determination, teamwork, and pride from start to finish.
Despite having a smaller team this year, Kingston really punched above its weight – a huge effort that shows just how strong the future of this team is 💙

🏅 Results update: Girls placed 18th 👏 Boys placed 26th 👊 out of 27 London Boroughs

👏 Huge shoutout to every member of the team... you did Kingston & us proud!
🙌 Thank you to the coaches, staff, and supporters who made the day possible.
💙 And of course, to the families and friends cheering from the sidelines, your support means everything.
